Association’s funds
Question
Our club/association would like to open a TWINT account, for which we need a "UID" in accordance with the TWINT requirements. How do we obtain one?
Answer
A UID is a company identification number that every company operating in Switzerland receives. Companies that are entered in the Commercial Register or registered with an OASI compensation office automatically receive this UID. Smaller clubs/associations that are neither entered in the Commercial Register nor pay salaries subject to OASI contributions can request a form to apply for the UID directly from the Federal Statistical Office: email: uid@bfs.admin.ch, phone +41 800 20 20 10 The current Articles of Association must be enclosed with the registration.
